CHRISTINE SANDRA (PEGLER) ROBISON
April 9, 1944 ~ January 28, 2018
Christine Sandra Robison, 73, passed away on Sun., Jan. 28, 2018 in Sun City, AZ. She was born on April 9, 1944 in Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire, England to Albert Edward Charles Pegler and Ada Pearson.
Christine married her lifelong sweetheart, Herbert "Rob" Ivan Robison on May 8, 1973, in Elizabethtown, KY. The two met in Australia, while Rob was serving abroad in the US Army. She accompanied Rob while stationed in Virginia and Germany, before eventually settling in Battle Ground, WA.
Christine was an avid sewer, loved reading romance novels, watching tennis and often spoke of her family in Australia and English heritage. Together, she and Rob took pleasure in camping and RV trips to their winter home in Sun City, AZ.
Christine is survived by her husband of 44 years, Herbert; brother; Michael Edward Hind Pegler of England; sister, Shannette Maureen (Pegler) Trembling of Australia; nephew, Phillip James Sellick of Australia; step-daughters, Leslie Deann Robison and Juli Ann Robison (Gable); step-grandchildren, Richard Scott Bartman, Joshua Bruce Bartman and Tiffany Rene Hubbard; and step-great-grandchildren, Robert and Caroline Bartman.
She will truly be missed for the natural role she filled as a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma and for how delicately Christine cared for her mother-in-law, Alice Robison, in her final days.
Arrangements for a memorial service for Christine have been made at the Best Funeral Home, 9380 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria, AZ, at 2:00 p.m. on Fri., Feb. 16, 2018.
