BURTON FRANK CHAMBERLIN
Burton Frank Chamberlin, 83, resident of Vancouver, WA, died at home Dec. 26, 2020, of cancer.
A lifetime advocate for youth and the disadvantaged, he inspired and directed humanitarian projects in the U.S. and abroad, right to the end. He was an adoptive father, a Masters graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, a friend and mentor to many.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth Elaine Jutila Chamberlin, and eight children, Jordan of Nairobi, Kenya, Jamie of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Lindsey of Atlanta, GA, Tucker of Wichita, KS, Benjamin of Lynnwood, WA, Sherry of Vancouver, Anna of Edmonds, WA, Katie of Wenatchee, WA; and 12 grandchildren, Curtis, Jasmine and Makayla of Atlanta, Justin and Jacob Chamberlin of Wichita, Joseph (JJ), Haile, and Hannah, Edmonds, Errol and Esme of Nairobi; Izaiah and Jacob Gutierrez of Wenatchee, and two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Cameron of Atlanta.
