Bryant Oliver Little of Vancouver, WA, passed away on April 18, 2011. He was born in Proctor, NC (where the price of delivery was a slab of bacon) to Roy Oliver Little and Nancy Bell (Bryant) Little. After his father died in 1918, his mother and sister went to live with her parents. They later lived in Okanogen, WA with his step-father, Marlock Townsend, where Bryant grew up and graduated from high school.
He moved to Oregon in 1959 and soon married Mildred Tilse in 1960 in Tigard, OR.
Bryant enjoyed, fishing, elk and deer hunting and gardening.
He worked as an auto mechanic until retirement in 1977.
He was very industrious and was always working
on his homes and yards. He could do anything with his hands.
Bryant is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mildred; sister, Roy; children, Robert, Kenneth, Carolyn and Jeff; step-children, Sharon, Shirley, Terry and Michael; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a memorial service on Mon., May 2, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Brush Prairie Baptist Church (where he was a long-time member), 11814 NE 117th Ave., Vancouver, WA.
