December 26, 1988 ~ July 30, 2018

Brett was born in Portland, OR in the winter of 1988. He lived his entire life in Battle Ground, WA and died from injuries sustained in an unfortunate traffic accident.
Though Brett behaved like he was raised by wild wolves, he leaves behind his heartbroken family: sisters, Rianne and Rachelle Lacombe; brother, Todd LeMense; parents, Moe and Renee Lacombe; grandmother, Mary Beyette; and his auntie Lucy Campaniello. He is also loved and considered extended family by several individuals, including Chrissie Smith and Kim Gorton, as well as their families.
His family wants to thank the health professionals at PeaceHealth for the wonderful way they cared for Brett during his final days.
Brett struggled his entire life with addictions and all that comes with it. We are grateful that his struggle is over.
Brett loved his family, friends, all children and pets, desserts and expensive shoes. On top of that,
he couldn't hold a grudge for more than 10 minutes.
A funeral is being held on August 18th at 1:00 p.m. at Cascades Presbyterian Church, 9503 NE 86th Street, Vancouver, WA 98662, located across from the new Bon Adventure being built.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations of new shoes for children and teens to be donated in Brett's name to honor his memory.
