Billie Leon McKee, Sr., age 66, died on Feb. 26, 2011 from complications of diabetes at his home in Battle Ground, WA. He was born to William and Pearl McKee and grew up in Ridgefield, WA and was a Ridgefield High School graduate.
For 38 years he ran his own logging company.
Billie enjoyed hunting, fishing, clam digging and raising cattle. He also enjoyed trips to Reno with family and loved to play cards.
Billie is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna; by sons, Billie, Jr. and Brett; his ex-wife, Joy Rasmussen; brothers, Ron and Ken McKee; many grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pearl McKee; and by his daughter, Jody McKee.
Special thanks to Hospice Southwest for the wonderful care they gave to Billie.
Funeral services will be on Fri., March 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Layne's Funeral Chapel, 16 NE Clark Avenue, Battle Ground, WA, with burial following in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Celebration of life will follow at 25118 NE 29th Ave., potluck.
