Bette was a wonderful woman. She was a great mentor to my daughter Megan. Meg began boarding at Bette's stable when she was just a middle schooler and Bette helped her so much. We were novices with horses and when Meg had a horse question or concern, which was very often, she would always go to Bette and Bette was always there to help and guide her. Megan continues to love and ride horses and she would say that in that endeavor Bette was her mentor.
Bette was so spunky and determined even when she hurt her knee. I always admired her. I will never forget how she loved those horses. I will forever think of her out in the pasture with carrots in her back pocket.
Bette you will me missed.

For Dan, Craig and Bobby;
I shall always remember your Mother with a smile. She was a super employer, and a great teacher. We had many great times at the "Aloha" and going to "hair-shows". But, her first love was always her great Morgans. I remember coming to the ranch a few times to admire her horses and how she handled them.
I am blessed to have known your Mom, and I know she will be greatly missed.

Bette was my friend and mentor in the Morgan horse world since 1981. The happiest 25 years of my horse life were spent at "Bette's Barn". Bette "let me" clean stalls, hall hay, round up horses, and help train her many beautiful Morgan foals.
In her prime Bette and her champion roadster Morgan, Mountain View Spitfire, were an awesome pair in the show ring. I was part of the "pit crew". What a joy!! We rode countless miles in her pastures and woods and in the Indian Heaven Wilderness area over the years. I was privileged to be owned by one of her beautiful Morgans, Mtn View Sinan, my "Beautiful Boy".
Thank you Bette, I hope Royal Glen, Sir Pan, Pete, Spitsy, vonBorf and the many girls were all there to greet you when you crossed over. You were one of a kind! Until we meet again .... Lovingly, your friend, Nancy Allin
