Bertrams V. Keire of Vancouver, Washington passed away on November 23rd, 2015.
He leaves behind Linda Kinniburgh, his significant partner of 22 years; 2 children, Mark Keire (wife Margaret) of Battle Ground, WA and Marisa Crain (husband Robert); 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Janay, and Tymothy; god daughter, Dagnija Matisons Tokarczyk.
Born in Riga, Latvija on October 17th, 1932, he came to America during his teen years and earned his citizenship by serving in the Korean War.
Bert received his Bachelor and Masters from Central Washington University in Education of Political Science.
A dedicated teacher of 34 years for the Vancouver School District at Hudson's Bay High School, he retired as a respected educator.
Bert was a devout teacher who loved
family time and the outdoors.
A Celebration of Life will take place April 30th, 2016 at Hudson's Bay High School, 1601 E. McLoughlin Blvd., Vancouver, WA 98663 at 1:15p.m. to 2:45p.m. There will be full military honors at Park Hill Cemetery following the service.
