BARBARA ANN OREM

Barbara Ann Orem, born Barbara Ann Jenkins, resident of Vancouver, WA, went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2011. Barbara was born on July 12, 1928, in Great Falls, MT to Ann and Reginald Jenkins with brother, Reginald E. Jenkins. Barbara's family moved to Portland, OR as a child where she attended and graduated Grant High School, and Oregon State College where she was a sorority sister of Delta Zeta.
After graduation Barbara married Roger Roy Orem from Portland, Oregon on July 8, 1951, whom she met during high school.
Barbara was a homemaker, bookkeeper, and an active member of PEO. Her hobbies included riding motorcycles, gardening, stock club, and anything having to do with her family.
Barbara is best known for her smile, upbeat personality, good nature and willingness to help others. She had a very strong belief and faith in the Lord.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Roger Orem; three sons and daughters-in-law; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Camas Church of the Nazarene, 2204 NE Birch Street, Camas, WA on June 4th at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the church.
Barbara lived with Rheumatoid Arthritis and donations can be made in her memory to the Arthritis Foundation
