Ambrose "Bud" Novak, 71, passed away April 27, 2011 in Vancouver, WA. He was born in Warren, MN.
Bud served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years and retired in 1982 as Senior Chief.
He was admired and respected by all who came in contact with him. He was devoted to his wife, his family and friends, and always went out of his way to help wherever he saw a need.
Bud loved to travel with his wife and took her all around the states showing her places she had never been. Throughout the years, he liked to hunt and fish, and fishing became his passion. He also collected exotic woods and turned beautiful bowls that are treasured by family and friends.
Bud is survived by his wife, Alicia; two sisters, Darlene (Jim) Fine and Mary (Rodney) O'Clair in ND; and brother, Dick Novak in MT. He has two step-children, Jimmy (Krissy) Schaberg and Tami (Jason) Martin; four grandchildren: Jessica, Bryanna, Ali and Brayden Schaberg; and many more family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2011, LifePoint Church, 305 NE 192nd Ave., Vancouver, WA.
