March 5, 1940 ~ April 1, 2011

Jim Piccola passed away peacefully at home on April 1, 2011, at the age of 71 in Vancouver, WA. He was born to John and Willa Piccola on March 5, 1940 in West Virginia. The family moved to California when Jim was a lad and he migrated to the Northwest 12 years ago.
Through his years, Jim loved to golf, hunt, camp, attend movies, and watch his favorite western cable channel. Westerns were his favorite shows and books, all though he did like a good spy novel at times. He never stopped laughing and enjoyed a good joke.
Jim surrounded himself with wonderful family, friends and neighbors who cared for him through the years. He joined the LDS church in Vancouver and he considered them his second family.
Jim is survived by his daughters, Michelle, Kimberly (husband Steve) and Josephine (husband Randy); brothers, Joe (wife Janet), John and Jack (wife Debbie); grandchildren, Ryan, Kristine, Mikal (wife Stephanie), Matthew and Sydney; great-grandchild, Aiden; ex-wives, Bobbie and Kathy; numerous nieces and nephews; and his two cats, Doris and Molly.
Memorial services will be held Sat., April 16th at 1:00 p.m. at Bliss Road Chapel, 14400 NW 26th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98685.
