In the early morning of November 20th, 2018, our beloved Aaron Brown went home to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ. After a two-year battle with cancer, it was time for him to go home. His wings were ready but our hearts were not. Aaron was born and raised in Vancouver, Washington where he spent the majority of his life. He graduated from Columbia River High School in 1984. Aaron was a residential and commercial roofer. He ran his own roofing company for many years.
The last several years of his life Aaron enjoyed living in Cathlamet and having a wonderful view of the river.
We all remember so many wonderful things about him, but more than anything we remember his beautiful, loving heart and his sense of humor that will stick in our hearts and memories forever. His charming smile, his laugh, and the way he could light up an entire room are just a few things we’ll miss and will carry with us daily.
Aaron was a phenomenal athlete. He was known for bowling a perfect game! He was passionate and competitive in everything that he did. He played basketball, football, baseball, tennis, and loved water sports and dirt biking. He had the skill to play sports competitively but mostly enjoyed making memories with his friends and family.
Aaron was good at so much, but more than anything he was good at opening up his heart and touching the lives of everyone around him. He had the amazing ability to create unique bonds with each one of us individually.
The memories he created with us are truly a gift from God and we will all cherish them for all of eternity!
Rest easy our brave, courageous, loving and compassionate man. We miss you dearly but are thankful that you are dwelling in the house of our Lord.
Aaron is survived by his soulmate of the last 15 years, Laurie Miller; two sons, Aaron Brown and Drew Brown; one grandson; his parents, Robert and Lana Brown; his sister, Charlene Cvek; and three brothers, Shane Bowers, Lance Brown and Torin Brown.
His service will be held at The Gathering Place, 2500 NE 78th St., Vancouver, WA 98665 on Sunday, December 9th, 2018 at 3 p.m.
