MICHELLE MARIE SCHREINER
JUNE 11, 1973 ~ JUNE 14, 2018

Michelle Marie Schreiner was born on June 11, 1973 in Vancouver, Washington, to Sherrie L. (Kalmbach) Schreiner and Clayton H. Schreiner and passed away at the age of 45 on June 14, 2018 in Bend, Oregon. Michelle graduated from Evergreen High School in 1991. She attended Clark College, Culinary Program and graduated from Everest College.
Michelle had a passion for bowling, playing pool, playing the slots at Maddy's in Gresham, Oregon and loved the Portland Trail Blazers and the Seattle Seahawks.
Michelle is survived by her son, Andrew M. Schreiner; sister, Tim and Lorrie L. (Schreiner) Young; aunts, Erin Kalmbach and Cecile Kalmbach; uncle, Darrell R. Kalmbach; niece, Sarah J. Young; nephew, Nathanael TC Young; great-niece, Amelia C. Young; special friend, Ken Cermack; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Esther V. Kalmbach and Lucille M. Meade; grandfather, Martin (Curley) Kalmbach; uncle, Gary Leroy Kalmbach; many other family members; and her cat, Boo.
The family would like to extend our special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospital and all medical personnel in the Portland/Vancouver vicinity for all you have done the last several years.
Friends and family can pay their respects at the Celebration Of Life service, officiated by Joe Spooner on Saturday, July 28 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall Post 14, 4607 NE St. James Rd., Vancouver, WA 98663. If you have photos or memories of Michelle that you'd like to share, please feel free to do so.
The family invites donations in Michelle's name to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829, Arlington, Virginia 22215 or you may go online at www.diabetes.org to donate in her name.
