I was so sorry to hear about Maxine. We always had such good conversations when I was visiting dad at Courtyard. She remembered every business that existed in old Vancouver along with the people and events. And she was always so proud of her family. You could see the love in her eyes when she told me what everyone was up to. She will be missed.

John and Deb, I feel so honored to have met and gotten to know Maxine over the past five years. Clearly she was an amazing person. I learned from her no matter what social media comes up with in technology for communication, always, always hand write your thank you notes! Old school and proud of it, she was a truly refined and classy lady! This world was certainly a better place because Maxine was in it. You all made her so proud and happy, a great family to be part of. She will be greatly missed by all of us. Love and healing being sent to everyone. She is in a better place making way for the rest of us and at long last reunited with her loved ones gone before her.
