I knew Lilly since I was thirteen years old. She would always let me come watch Elvis movies in her Barber shop on Saturdays. She was the nicest lady I knew when I was a child/teenager and she gave me a lot of wisdom about the boy I liked. It was because of Lilly that my mom let me continue seeing that boy and I married him years later and we had two children> I lost track of Lilly until sometime in 2010 we spoKe on the phone for a long time and I got to update her on everything in my and my husbands life. she was glad that we had made a good marriage. The moments I got to talk to her catching up will always be cherished. I miss her and love her.-Roberta Mayo (storm)

I've framed the clipping I have of us--all five in the line of generations. I look at it and feel the same way I did then, too. I love you Grandma Lilly. We were so blessed to have you and will miss you very deeply.
