Kathleen Rubbelke Obituary

KATHLEEN "KATHY" LAVONNE (NAIL) RUBBELKE
February 13, 1964 ~ June 11, 2017

Kathy was born Feb. 13, 1964 (one-half hour before Valentine's Day), in White Salmon, WA and died June 11, 2017, in Gransbury, TX, at the age of 53. She graduated from Prairie High School in 1984 and married Dale Rubbelke in August of 1992.
Her mantra since age 2, was "I can do it myself!" Kathy's hobbies were crocheting, painting, re-doing furniture, collecting frogs, fishing (especially since she always out-fished Dale) and dancing, even if it was just dancing around the home with Dale. Her favorites were: the color green, petunias and singer, Garth Brooks.
The most important thing in life to Kathy
was the love she had for her family.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Dale; daughter, Sarah Laskowski; son, Joseph; grandchildren, Dante and Natalie Justice; mother, Nancy Nail; and brothers, Michael (Christie) and Edwin Nail.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Nail.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, 1 p.m., at The Lofts (Glenwood Place) in "The Commons" room, 5300 NE 82nd Ave., Vancouver, WA 98662.

I went to school with Kathy in the Evergreen school district for many years and at Prairie high school and I must say she was one of the nicest people that I ever met! My heart goes out to her husband and family and I wish her peace.
