KAREN JEFERIES PRINTZ
October 15, 1957 ˜ December 26, 2018
Karen Jefferies Printz was born October 15, 1957 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Mary and Hugh Jefferies. She has two older sisters: Robin Younger and Kim Jefferies. As a child, Karen spent time in Newport Beach, California, but mostly grew up in Lake Quivera, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City.
Karen was a graduate of the University of Kansas, but moved to Portland, Oregon to live with her sister Kim who was attending law school.
It is there she met her husband of thirty three years Randy Printz and moved to Vancouver, Washington. Karen was perhaps the nicest person to walk on this planet and loved her friends dearly. She was particularly fond of her four legged friends; mostly golden retrievers, but any good dog would do in a pinch.
Karen worked at Wendel Family Dental for many years and volunteered at the Washington School For the Blind. She is survived by her father, two sisters, husband, many many many close friends and Sage (a Golden Retriever of course). She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Karen’s life on Friday, January 11th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Royal Oaks Country Club, 8917 NE Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver, WA 98662.

I worked with Karen at WFDC in the early 1990’s. She was beautiful, kind, and fun to work with. I will remember her smile and kindness always.

Oh, no. I just found out. I am sorry, Randy. Karen was very kind and I so enjoyed our conversations. They always left me with a smile. I'm smiling right now - with tears in my eyes - thinking of your amazing lady. I think she would like that I'm smile/crying. It's just the thing she and I would have giggled about. Peace and love to you.

I'm sorry I missed the celebration of her life. I didn't know Karen except through Randy and how he spoke of her. She must have been a wonderful woman. My heart hurts for those loved ones she left behind.

Karen was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was a dear friend who lit up the room with her smile. She was one of my first friends here at WFDC. I will miss her greatly and our talks of Golden Retrievers. My thoughts are with you Randy and her family.

A truly wonderful and generous person to be around. Karen was a beautiful soul. And the world just lost a bit of joy and light. Condolences to Randy and Hugh and her family.

This is very sad news. Karen was a beautiful and always "young" person in my eyes. Her unexpected passing makes in hard to accept, but I know she will be greatly missed by many
