John was an extraordinary student. I had the honor of having him in two different courses at Brooks. He was the top student in both classes--the only A in each course. I looked forward to seeing him because he was insightful, eloquent, and he elevated the level of discussion for the whole class. He was friendly and engaging with his classmates--a real gem. I'm heartily saddened at his loss and I'll remember him most fondly. -Anna Jensen

Will always look back fondly on John's infectious smile, "can do" enthusiastic attitude and quick wit. John brought joy into the lives of his peers and many adults, who like me, had the pleasure of coaching, teaching or working with him.
