Aunt Judy and Family,

Sorry for your loss. I have lots of fond memories of my Uncle Gary. I remember going to Ohio to stay a week with him and aunt Judy. I remember the week he came and stayed with my sister and I while mom and dad were out of town. That week he took my sister and I to the Patton museum at FOrt Knox. I remember the night he called when he was leaving for the Gulf. Also 7 years ago I went out to Washington for 10 days. He drove me around the western states so that I could expierence it. I had the best time.

Uncle Gary you will be missed by me. Love you. See you in heaven!!!

Love and Prayers,

Ally and Marty

My Name is Ron Napier

It is hard to loose a friend of fifty years.
Gary and I became friends through our employment in 1960.
We found that we had much in common.
There was hardly a day to go by, that we did not talk.
It is hard to place a value on those moments until they are gone.
Gary told me one day; I was the brother he had always wanted.
I remember where we were at that moment years ago.
I will cherish that moment for all the days of my life.
I am so happy that he accepted Jesus recently.
I told him, we would now continue our friendship throughout eternity.
I am so happy that I was one of those who he recognized the hours near the end.
Our brotherly love for each other was expressed each time we parted.
I will miss a close and dear friendship that many will never experience.
I want to say Good by my dear friend Gary.
Until we meet on the other side.

Judy and Family:

We are sorry for the loss of your best friend, husband, Dad, and Poppy.

He was looked up to by me as another big brother when I met him while dating Linda. Then he really captured my intrigue when he came driving that sporty new Barracuda convertible down to the farm, with those two beaming kids in the back seat. We chatted about that last week during our visit, and he chuckled and told me that car was still out in his barn. Yes he loved his cars. Tractors too! I could always ask a question about a tractor or any farm implement and he could "repair" it over the phone.

Thank you Judy, Gary III, Gigi, and grand kids for sharing him during his time serving his country. He made many sacrifices to his family to keep our country a safer and better place to live. He saw first hand the tortures of men, women, children and families in other countries and elected to forgo some of the comforts of home and the comforts of being with his family to make life better for all of us. He sometimes had a tough time verbalizing that, but it was real. He loved his family! He loved his country! He loved serving!

And as Linda told him last Monday, he was the best big brother she could ever have wanted!

We will all really really miss him, but our joy is in knowing we will see him again in heaven.

We love you all,

Perry and Linda

Gary, his family and friends, thank you for your service, your honor, and your sacrifices for our freedom we all share. You were a good friend, I always enjoyed flying with you, and you will be missed.
