Jane and I worked together as colleagues at Good Sam in the 80's. When I moved to Providence in 2008, I was thrilled to discover we were colleagues once again! She was always professional, choosing her words wisely, and was so supportive of others. She shared with me her deep love and admiration for her daughter. She felt truly blessed that they were living together, and felt great joy having her so close. Jane is not of this earth now, but her positive influence carries on.

I worked with Jane off and on, over the years. One thing I will always remember is her helping us move beds around. This is significant because Jane was hands on. Most co-ordinators were in their office, Jane came out to help. I am so sorry to hear she has left us.

I got to know Jane when Kate attended St.Joseph school along with my daughter, Kendra. Jane was kind and funny and she loved Kate with all of her being. Every time I see Diane at church I am reminded of Jane and fondly recall the good times we had watching our girls play basketball. Our deepest condolences go out to Kate, Diane, Beth and all of Jane's family.

Jane was a beautiful person inside and out. She provided me with the tools needed to be the nurse I am today. Her guidance was immeasurable.

Jane was amazing! She was dedicated to people in some many ways. To me, Jane was was the nurse manager who believed in me as a "non hospital experienced" nurse and showed me how nurse managers can be wonderful in their thankless role. I pray that everyone who has been touched by Jane either personally or professionally will carry forward her spirit, courage, and compassion.....we could make the world wonderful with a bit of Jane in each of us. My condolences to Kathleen. You were very much her pride and joy!

Jane was my first Nurse Manager when I started work at Kaiser Sunnyside on 2 North in 1997. She was wonderful to work with and for. She was one of the best nurse managers I have had in over 20+ years of nursing. Showing compassion for her nurses, she always let the nurses take our breaks during night shift in her office as it had a recliner in there to take a nap. None of the subsequent nurse managers would ever allow that. Thank you Jane for being a part of my nursing career.

My deepest condolences to the entire Gilronan family on Jane's passing. Janie's warmth, faith and loving spirit will always be how I remember her best. She had a light in her eyes when she spoke and I felt the love emanating from her always when I talked with her. I have the sweetest photo of her holding Olivia when she was just a baby and it brings a smile to my heart to think of it. Janie will be be missed and always in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Kathleen, and your wonderful family.

I am so sorry to hear about Jane's passing. I know how hard this was for her and her family as I lost my husband to the same disease, it is horrible. Even though I haven't seen Jane in a number of years, I remember her fondly as an extremely nice and friendly person. I know she will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers to all of you Gilronans.

Jane could always see the light where there had been darkness. She could see the potential in people and help them to grow. She was one of the most caring individuals I have had the pleasure to know. She has left a legacy at Providence. Rest in peace, Jane.

Jane came to our clinic in a very dark and depressing time. Jane gave us hope and light. She always had an open door and was as interested in our personal lives as our work lives. She always welcomed you with open arms and was as willing to share laughter in your times of joy as she was willing to hold you when you needed to cry. The plaza is a richer place, and I am a richer person for having Jane in our lives. God bless her family and give them peace in their time of sorrow.

Dear Gilronan Family: Prior to my retirement, I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Jane at Providence Medical Group/The Plaza. She was kind, a great listener and problem solver, competent, and professional at all times. Having spent 38 years at Providence with the last 20 years at Providence Medical Group/The Plaza, I can truly state Jane was, by far, the best RN and Clinic Manager I had the pleasure of working with on both a professional and personal basis. Her passing is a loss to her family and friends and also to the medical profession. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
