Dale Allen Bruns, Sr., 63, passed away on August 10, 2019. He most recently resided in St. Maries, Idaho and on the Oregon Coast, but had many friends across the country. Dale was born to Marvin and Nellie Bruns on May 11, 1956 in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from Hudson’s Bay High School in Vancouver, Washington in 1974 and attended Clark College.
Dale spent his life enjoying the outdoors, playing country music, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Nellie; his four children, April Anderson (David), Dale Bruns, Jr. (Heather), Jacob Bruns (Kayleen), Kayla Udenby (Tyler); and his nine grandchildren, with two more on the way.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 25 from 10:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. at: 617 NE 127th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98684. All are invited to attend.

I spent many good times with Dale in his Mustang. A long time ago now, but seems just like the other day. Peace my friend.

Thoughts and prayers.. I didn't get to know you as an adult, but will never forget your funny stories and comeing to stay at the coast to fish.. even though its been +30 years, to this day every time I see or eat pickled jalapeno peppers and carrots it brings me right back to the good ol days! RIP

To the last of the gentlest gentleman., I've known you for so many years and all through those many years you consistently remained the same not one thing but goodness in all that you were! Never ever a cross word always your brightness and smile and in my heart and eyes there will never be one more you! I'll miss you forever Dale,Rest In Peace and your brightness Heaven, is now such a more beautiful place. xo

You are gone too soon buddy!!! It was always a delight conversing with you about all the people we knew in the fishing world!! Although I didn't know you well in school we just caught up later in life. I will miss all your posts and opinions but I know you and John K. Are telling all your stories in heaven!! Dale was a nice, fun guy. While I didn't know him much as an adult, he was kind and our family enjoyed his company. My heart is breaking for his mom - sweet, kind, caring Nellie.
