I'm saddened to hear that Evelyn has passed away. I worked at Glenwood for a breif time, and Evelyn was truly my favorite resident. When I would go to answer her calls, we would spend time talking and shared many giggles. We had our own little ritual... Each time I would leave her room, I would say "see you later alligator" and she would reply "after awhile crocodile", and we would both giggle. She could never remember my name, but she always recognized my face and was happy to see me. That made my job so much easier, and I loved caring for her. I loved Evelyn.
My condolences to the family. She was a true gem.
