RON RAY ROSE
December 23, 1935 ~ December 22, 2016
Our husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin and friend was called to be with his Lord and Savior, December 22, 2016.
Ron was born in Portland, OR. He graduated from Stevenson High School in 1954, served in the US Army in 1959, married Joan in 1978 and retired from Washougal School District in 2001. Ron was an active servant at Gateway Community Church.
Ron enjoyed construction, restoring bicycles, wood-working and was the World's Greatest Grandpa.
Ron is survived by his wife Joan; brother Sonny Moore, Everett WA, sons Todd Rose (Jessica) Lacey, WA; David Rose, Newport, OR; stepsons Phil (Sandy) Crockford, Camas, WA; Adrien (Pam) Crockford Washougal, WA; Bruce (Chris) Crockford, Carson, WA; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ron was preceded in death by his daughter Ronda Smith.
Services will be held January 14, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Gateway Community Church, 1235 E St., Washougal.

Its been over 40 years that I met the Rose family. When David and I became friends I found myself at their house a lot and was always welcomed.unfortunately after years of not seeing my friend I find his name when his father passes away. Unfortunately I didn't know about Ronda.To the entire family I send my condolences and my prayers
