LARRY CHURCH
November 13, 1946 ˜ January 6, 2019
Larry Church died on Sunday, January 6th, 2019, at the age of 72. He has left behind many fond memories. Family and friends gathered by his side in his final days. Larry graduated in 1965 from Ocosta High School in Westport, WA. He was part of the 1965 undefeated football team that is still talked about to this day.
Larry’s work history included employment with Ed Berray Painting Company, Clark County Fire District #5, and Public School Employees of WA.
After his retirement in 2009, Larry and his wife enjoyed traveling, supporting local high school sports, fishing and blackjack tournaments.
Larry is survived by his childhood sweetheart, Judi, wife of 53 years; children, Mark Church (Seattle) and Tanya Craft (Vancouver); his grandsons, Alex and Austin Craft, both of Vancouver, who brought him great joy; and two sisters, Sharon (Church) Godfrey and Judy (Church) Vincent, both of Grayland, WA. There are an abundance of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews, which he loved spending time with. He will miss the oyster feeds, holiday parties and sports/political debates.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.

He served for the Battle Ground School District number 119 Administration. Ensuring their proper stance above the Public School Employees while masquerading as a field representative. Good Times!

Larry was a good friend and former co-worker. We worked together for 9 years and my friendship with Larry and his family continued after that. He was the life of the party and his family was everything to him. My condolences to the family.
Prayers and love are extended to you and for you.

Larry was a friend for many years. We did lots of union things and I for one thing the reason Camas School District classified workers have such a solid contract is because Larry always had the workers s best interest when we would negotiate for the best contract. His rough exterior couvered a very empathetic interior. Larry,Im sure you and Bruce have already started putting your heads tonight to get heaven organized. Judy, I feel blessed to have had Larry for a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you,Mark and Tonya
