Judith Johnson Obituary

JUDITH ANN JOHNSON
July 18, 1946 ~ November 14, 2017

Judith Ann Johnson, 71, found her heavenly forever home on Nov. 14th, 2017. She passed peacefully at Fieldstone Memory Care in Kennewick, WA, the town she resided in for the last five years. Judy was born in Portland, OR to Frank and Margaret Delano on July 18th, 1946. She and her younger brother, Jim, grew up on the family farm.
When Judy was out of high school, she married Lee Freitag on Veteran's Day 1965. They ended up in Vancouver, WA, where she was a stay at home mom for many years to their two children, Todd and Kim. After becoming a single mom, Judy worked hard in the insurance industry to support her family.
She eventually met the love of her life, Eric Johnson, whom she married on Dec. 17th, 1988.
Judy always had a zest for adventure, so her family ended up in Reno, NV for a job opportunity. She resided there for nearly 20 years, even staying after the death of her husband, before making the move up north to live, and be cared for by her son and his family in Kennewick.
Over the years, Judy's family grew from two children to four as Sherri Freitag (Todd) and Michael Lange (Kim) were married into the family. She took each one and loved them unconditionally as her own, and welcomed 4 grandchildren over the years, Shelby Lange 21, Cadence Lange 20, Sydney Freitag 19, and Brayden Freitag 16. Judy is also survived by her brother, Jim Delano.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands, Lee Freitag and Eric Johnson.
Judy was the glue which held her family together,
she will be forever in our hearts, and forever missed.
Hillcrest Memorial Center in Kennewick, WA is entrusted with her arrangements.

Thank you Judy for always welcoming us crazy kids into your home! We felt like we belonged and loved our time there. We loved you like another mother and watched how beautiful you were when you would go out... you will be missed but can rest easy knowing what an amazing daughter and son you raised!
