Tom Orahood, 56, of Vancouver, WA, passed away on December 2, 2016 at home after a courageous 8 month battle with cancer. He was born in Portland, OR to the late Warren and Jean Orahood on September 12, 1960.
After graduating from North Salem High School in 1978, Tom served in the Navy where he met his lifetime Navy buddies.
After living on the East coast for several years, he began a 17-year career in the service department with Dick Hannah Dealerships before transferring to McCord's Toyota in 2015.
Tom enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, golfing, family BBQ's, concerts, college football, NASCAR and The Seahawks.
Tom will be forever remembered and loved by Kay Hymas, her two sons, Phillip (Christine) Hymas, and Matthew (Maddisen Klingberg) Hymas, all of Vancouver; son, Matt (Marian) Orahood and granddaughter, Elli of Warner Robins, GA; and his siblings, Sue (Brian) Rutter, Sharon Bennett, Joanne (Tom) Liston and Robert Orahood.
Please join us for Tom's Celebration of Life and reception on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Water Resources Education Center - 4600 SE Columbia Way, Vancouver, WA.
