VIRGINIA "GINNY" ANN (MILLER) BRASKETT
March 30, 1949 ~ September 30, 2016
Virginia Ann Braskett of Vancouver, WA, was called home by our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, September 30th, 2016 at the age of 67. She was born on March 30th, 1949 to Jesse and Florence Miller.
Ginny is survived by her sister, Theresa Curry; sons, Richard and Aarron; daughter-in-law, Barbara; and 4 grandchildren, Gabriel, Richard, KimberAnn, and Lizzy.
While her initial goal was to be an educator, Ginny found great pleasure and reward raising her two sons. She led a successful career as a small business owner in Woodland, WA and eventually retired from SEH America.
Ginny enjoyed church and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was a fan of classic rock and roll and the SyFi channel. Ginny passed many a day in her flower garden, and feeding the birds and squirrels. Her favorite squirrel was a little blond guy that was almost trusting enough to eat out of her hand.
Ginny will be remembered and missed by many.
Viewing will be from 12:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6th, with a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 7th in the Garden of Love, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 1101 NE 112th Ave., Vancouver. A reception will follow in the Hospitality Room.

It is with great sadness and another deep sense of loss that I share my condolences with All Family - but especially Terri, Richard, Aaron, and all others with whom Ginny's lively, caring, and loving spirit generously touched our lives. I will always hold her smile, her chuckle, her beautiful green eyes, her warmth and endearing soul close at heart and in the forefront of my memories. I am so proud to be able to say she was my cousin! God Raise Her Up and Wrap Your Loving Arms Around Her As She Enters Your Paradise. Take her to reunite with all of her family members and friends who preceeded her, and now prepare for those of us who are to follow. Amen

So sorry to hear about the loss of Ginny. Altho I haven't seen her in some time, I do remember the great times we had in junior high and high school. We laughed til we cried sometimes...and Ginny with her vivid green contacts and her snap on bangs in high school always made us both laugh! We had a great time. May God hold you tightly in his arms and may you rest in peace my friend.

There is no grieving message that can express how much Ginny meant to me. She was like my sister and my heart is aching. I know I will see her another time and it will be as though we were never apart. May she finally be at peace.
All my love, your cousin Linda

I was blessed to be your cousin and have you in my life. There are so many fond and fun memories growing up and you will always be in my heart where they live. Your smile and laugh will be missed by so many. Our times at the property in Klipsan Beach with family were great fun and are great memories. We will all be together again someday and until then I will miss you much. Thank you for making my life much better because you were in it. Always With Love, Ronnie

Ginny was such a special person. I have wonderful precious memories of her in our childhood and teenage years. I deeply regret that we lost touch in adulthood and didn't have the chance to reconnect. I take comfort that she is now pain free and we will reconnect on the other side. Sorry I can't make the memorial but my thoughts and prayers are with Terry and Ginny's family during this difficult time. Love and big hugs to you Dude!
