I knew Richard through his commitment to the Community Military Appreciation Committee (CMAC) He commanded the Honor Guard for VFW and was always there when duty called. He was a wonderful person to work with, never complained, always cheerful and always there. He spoke at community schools telling about military life and service to one's country which he exemplified. He will be sorely missed and I thank his family for sharing Richard with us.
