ROBERT WILLIAM BOYLE
July 30, 1932 ~ February 2, 2018
Robert William Boyle, 85, of Washougal, WA, peacefully set off on his journey to be with the Lord on Feb. 2nd, 2018. He was born in Batesland, SD on July 30, 1932, to John M. and Rheba R. Boyle. They lived in Montana before coming to Camas, WA where he attended Camas High School.
Robert served in the United States Marine Corp., stationed in "Camp Pendleton", San Diego, CA. Upon completion; resided in Camas and was employed by Columbia rock products.
Robert was introduced to Patricia L. Burkhart of Camas and they were married on Sept. 27, 1957. They relocated to Seattle, WA where Robert was employed by the "Midas Muffler Shop". In 1964, Robert now with a family of five, came to Washougal. In 1968, he purchased the home where he has lived for the past 50 years.
Robert retired as Leadman, from Waterway Terminals in Portland, OR.
He enjoyed working outdoors while investing several years of planning and establishing the landscaping of the family home. His main interest was his "Family". Robert gave a lifetime of unconditional love, hope and encouragement, providing a home where you knew you were always welcome. Strong moral values were taught without words. He was always looking for an opportunity to help others.
Robert is survived by his son, Michael A. (Elisa) Boyle; daughter, Mishelle D. Boyle; son, Todd M. Boyle; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 59 years, Patricia L. Boyle; parents, John M. and Rheba Boyle; and brothers, John M. Boyle Jr. and William "Bill" Boyle.
A private graveside service will be held for family at the Camas Cemetery on Feb. 25th at 1:00.
