CARLETTA ESTELLA SCHEIWILLER
July 18, 1939 ˜ January 1, 2019
Carletta Estella Scheiwiller of Battle Ground, WA, passed away on Jan. 1, 2019. She was born in Vancouver to Neil and Ann Bright, the first of six children. Carletta graduated from Battle Ground High School with honors in May 1957.
She earned an Associate of Arts in General Studies also with honors from Clark College in June 1976.
Carletta worked as an accountant for Property Management Service and as a bank teller for Seafirst Bank. She retired as Accounts Payable Specialist from Southwest WA Medical Center.
Carletta was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and Women of the Moose. She enjoyed crosswords, reading, spending time with her fiancé, Gary Holland and her feline friend, Sweet Pea.
Carletta enjoyed life and was interested in others. She was a tough lady who fought hard to keep going.
Carletta is survived by her fiancé, Gary Holland; 2 daughters, Renee Neddo (spouse Kevin) of Battle Ground, WA and Janelle Mee (spouse Walter) of La Center, WA; 3 loving grandkids, Michael Mee, Brent Neddo and Brandon Neddo; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, John J. Scheiwiller, Jr.; parents, Ann and Neil Bright; sister, Evelyn Anderson; and brother, Robert Bright.
A memorial service will be held on Tues., Jan. 8, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church.
Donations may be sent to the church.
