DONNA JEAN MCIVOR

Donna Jean McIvor, 84, of Vancouver, WA, peacefully passed away at home on Nov. 20, 2018 surrounded by her children, grandchildren and dearest friend, Liz Quigly. Jean was born in Lewiston, ID and raised by Issac and Nellie Whealdon in Raymond, ID.
She was a homemaker and CNA who loved crossword puzzles, cross-stitch, sewing, reading and her family.
Jean is survived by her 5 children: Dennis Michael McIvor (Lisa Posey), Nancy Parker (Nickey), Matthew McIvor (Mika), Robin McIvor (CJ Reed) and Jonathan Issac McIvor; her beloved grandchildren: Manny McIvor (Holly), Michelle McIvor (Hayden Wead), Michael Glen McIvor and Marshall McIvor (Hayden Mason); and her brother-in-law, George McIvor (Linda).
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Mason McIvor; her husband of 54 years, L. V. ’Mac’ McIvor (US Navy Veteran); brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Donna McIvor.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR on Fri., Dec. 7, 2018 at 12:30 p.m and a private gathering at Jean’s home.

I love you and missyou so very much I feel so empty and lost right now ...I always knew I could pick up the phone or send you a post card with my address And sure enough I get a birthday card from you And there is one card you sent me that I read every day and I'm trying to follow it's advice that you gave to me it's hard to do right now but I'll get throug and mommy thank you for the light In your eyes The smile you always had for me when I walked into the room think of you mommy my heart blooms like a flower ia big yellow happy flower that is what my heart feels like when I think of you every day it makes me cry But that's OK because my tears keep that big yellow flowerwatered Nobody will know or understand everything that me and you were through but it's what we went through that made this love we share for each other so honest and trueDon't forget what I told you..when you're feeling sad and blue think of something good and good will come to you God bless you mommy
