"Don was truly an amazing human being.
To have known him is to have loved him.
He didn't have an enemy on earth."
Donald Lee Stephens, 71, of Woodland, WA, passed away Dec. 24, 2015. He fought cancer for eight long years, always positive, always thinking of everyone else first. Don left his family with a sense of peace, knowing he is free from pain and suffering and he will be watching us from heaven above. He was born to Leonard "Dutch" and Ida Stephens on Sept. 16, 1944.
Don worked and was co-owner of Biggs Insurance Co. where he worked for over 40 years.
Don was an avid and very successful fisherman. He loved canning, smoking, and sharing his bounty. He was also an avid hunter of birds, elk, deer, etc. Many of you will remember Don as an awesome baseball player. He received many honors in the sport. He also bowled for many years, having a perfect 300 game.
Don loved his family unconditionally
and it was returned by all.

Don and I became instant friends when we met in High School. We shared many life events together than and for years there after. Don and I also spent many years in the duck blind together, what wonderful times, just the two of us being together enjoying life, the passion we had for hunting and talking about life. A truly wonderful friend and man.
