I attended Ockley Green and Jefferson High School with Vernon. I was also fortunate to work with Vernon on a few high school reunion committees with him. He was a genuius with computers, and his heart was the size of a house when friends were needed or if volunteers for projects were sought. Vernon was a Gentleman and his photo appears under that word in Webster's Dictionary. He will be missed my many, many people.
