EVELYN M. JOHNSON
June 3, 1926 ~ April 8, 2011
Evelyn M. Johnson of Vancouver, WA, passed away on April 8, 2011. She was born in Benson, MN to Emery and Theresa Dineen.
Evelyn enjoyed camping in their vacation trailer, bowling, playing bunco and embroidery.
She didn't serve in the military, but she spent 13 years working for the Veteran's Hospital in Vancouver.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Marcella Watson of Vancouver, Loretta Anderson of Portland, and Beverly (Steven) Kennedy, Mike Johnson, Dan Johnson, and Tom (Sherrie) Johnson, all of Vancouver; sisters, Ann Concannon and Leona Hadd, both of Portland and Shirley Becker of Vancouver; brothers, Fred Dineen of Kalispell, MT and Don and Mike Dineen, both of Vancouver; 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Bueford "Gene" Johnson; both parents; three sisters; and three brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thurs., April 14, 2011 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
