LORETTA MARIE FOX
October 18, 1915 ~ March 30, 2011
Loretta Marie Fox, 95, passed away on March 30th at home surrounded by her loving family. Loretta was born Oct. 18, 1915 in Uniontown, WA, the 2nd child of Albert and Mary Mosman. She grew up in Uniontown and at the age of 12 moved to Central Ridge, ID with her family. During her adult years, she lived in Walla Walla, Spokane, and for the last 26 years in Vancouver.
Loretta was an active member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vancouver. After many years in temporary housing, Holy Redeemer broke ground on their new church building in 2008. With additional interior details yet to complete, the dedication of the new parish facility took place in 2009 and it was a high point in Loretta's life.
Loretta is survived by sons, James J. Fox (Marilyn) of Vancouver, WA, David R. Fox (Cathy) of Bend, OR; daughters, Jeannie M. Riler (Fred) of Issaquah, WA and Lisa M. Fox of Vancouver, WA; six grandchildren, Jeff, John, Kelly, Jennifer, Stephanie and Melissa; seven great-grandchildren, Katy, Jack, Gus, Grace, Charlie, Lucas and Olive; and all five of her siblings, Bernadine (97), Raymond (93), Stella (90), Jean (88) and Clarence (85).
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fox in 1980; and her daughter, Sheila E. Fox, in 1998.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vancouver on Wed., April 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A rosary service will be held at Hennessey Funeral Home in Spokane, WA on Thurs. April 7, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral Mass will be at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Spokane on Fri., April 8th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane. She will be laid to rest next to her husband John.

My life will never be the same without you and I can hardly wait to join you when God says I can. You have been my dearest friend, my life's companion, my mother. I thank you for everything and am so grateful that we never missed a day without telling each other that we loved one another.
