BRIAN FEMLING
November 5, 1968 ~ May 3, 2013
"He was a creative, caring person with a warm
sense of humor and a passion for helping others."

Brian R. Femling, 44, passed away May 3, 2013, after a short battle with cancer. He was born on Nov. 5, 1968 in Vancouver, WA. As a lifelong resident of Vancouver, Brian lived on a portion of the farm that has been in the Femling family for 100 years. He graduated from Prairie High School in 1987 and then received nursing degrees from Clark College and WSU Vancouver.
Brian married Sandra Gilbert on June 26, 1999.
He worked for multiple organizations in the greater Vancouver/Portland area during his career including Clark College, The Vancouver Clinic, Georgia Pacific, Intel, and most recently at Kaiser Permanente.
Brian enjoyed fishing and spending time at the farm with his extended family.
He was a very kind, loving and patient man
who gave boundless support to his family.
Brian is survived by his wife, Sandie; daughters, Samantha and Cassidy; and his two brothers, Herb (Beth) and Scott (Heidi), both from Vancouver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norb and Eleanor Femling.
A memorial service will be held Sun., May 19, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 401 E. 33rd Ave., Vancouver, WA.
