ZACHARY BUCHANAN
November 22, 1981 ~ October 3, 2012
"Honest, sincere, unpretentious and caring,
Zach will be sorely missed by those who knew him."

We are saddened to announce the death of Zachary Buchanan who died suddenly at his home on Wed., Oct. 3, 2012. He was born in Vancouver and lived here all his life.
A 2000 graduate of Prairie High School, he was employed as the production manager at Trail Tech, Inc. in Battle Ground, WA.
Zach took pride in doing his best and his standards were high. A creative problem solver, he gladly used his skills to help friends and family. He was our "go-to-guy" and seemed happiest when "hanging" with his friends and brothers and helping them with their projects.
With his easy smile and quick sense of humor,
he was a joy to be around.
Zach is survived by his parents, John and Borgi; his brothers, Matthew and Stuart; as well as best friends, Ryan and Robert.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service on Sat., Oct. 13, 3:00 p.m. at Brush Prairie Baptist Church, 11814 NE 117th Ave., Vancouver, WA.

I just heard about Zachary passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I lived right next door and never knew anything was wrong. A very nice, quiet guy. So very sad.

Deeply saddened to hear of Zach's passing. He was a dedicated, respectful employee at Trail Tech. We worked together a few years, he in Production and I in Tech Support at the time, and I could always tell the standards he set for himself were very high. A quiet, inward man not given to anger. May God help you, his family, find comfort during this difficult time.

We are so deeply saddened by Zach's untimely death. He would often stop by to visit with us or honk and wave as he drove by. What a dear, sweet, funny, humble, kind person he was. Just a couple of weeks ago I came home to find Zach on his restored Honda, showing it off to Jeff. We will never forget you Zach, and will always miss your smiling face.

Zac brought to this place, kindness, gentleness, thoughtfulness, consideration. He pleased his parents, loved Stu and Matt, took care of his friends and was a blessing to all who knew him. Peace belongs to him. He lived his life well. A privilege to have been in your life for the time we had with you.

We were stunned when we were informed of Zach's passing. We knew him through our son. We would see him at Nate's concerts or over at our house for BBQs. We, as parents, never were able to get really close, since he was always hanging out with the guys, but you could always sense a genuine heart and soft spirit in him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Matty, Stu and the rest of the family in this most difficult of times.

Our deepest sympathies go to John, Borgi, Matt and Stu for the great loss of Zack. We have watched him grow up from across the street. Mom fondly remembers when Zack was a small boy, and she would go out to mow her grass. Zack would come over with his toy lawn mower and push it along side of her. And as he grew older, he was always willing to help her. His life was too short and only God knows the reason why. May God be with during this difficult time and give you stregth.

Zach was a quiet young man that would think about things. We remember his concern and sympathy when we lost our son 13 years ago and was a comfort to us. We will miss him. May Jon and Borgi find peace and comfort.

Zach was such a special person. He was a soft-spoken, kind, determined Man. He was always so easy to be around and always had a smile on his face when I saw him. It's hard to believe he is gone and we won't see him at the next bonfire or riding around with Ryan. Praying for his Parents, brothers, extended family and friends. You will forever be miss Zach. Pray you are resting in peace and no longer in pain.

Zack was a person that I easily got along with. He believed in me and challenged me while working with him at TrailTech. Zack always stepped up to the task at hand, especially if it was one for a friend in need. I envisioned our time together here would be much longer, but I am grateful for the time we did have. My deepest condolences to all his family and friends. Later Broski.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayers our with your family at this time. Our son worked with yours and I know yours will be greatly missed. We will keep your family in our heart and know that your son will be missed. There are no words that can make the loss any easier, words do not make the your heart hurt any less, only time can do that. Please remember his memory will always be in the heart of the ones that knew him best. That saw his smile or heard his laugh. That for the time he was here, he did make a great difference in peoples lives.
