ROY A. NAYLOR
July 7, 1947 ~ July 30, 2018
Roy A. Naylor, age 71, of Battle Ground, Washington, passed away on July 30, 2018, with his family at his side at Community Hospice in Vancouver, Washington. His family and friends came to Battle Ground to spend loving time with Roy during his battle with ALS. He will be greatly missed. Roy was born in 1947 in New Jersey to Ellen and Brooks Naylor (both deceased). Roy grew up in New York state and graduated from Cornell University.
Roy and his wife moved to Alaska in 1981. He passionately enjoyed hiking, cross country skiing, biking, and fishing in Alaska, Utah, Oregon and Washington.
Roy is survived by his wife, Joanne; son, Erik; brother, Lynn (Gail); and his sister, Gail Shaw (Bill).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Roy's name to the ALS Association of Oregon and SW Washington Chapter, 700 NE Multnomah St., Suite 210, Portland, Oregon 97232.
