Janet M. Lundberg, 92, Vancouver, WA, passed away peacefully September 1, 2018 at the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver, WA, after a long battle with cancer. Born November 2, 1925 to Oscar and Jennie Bajema Post in Lynden, WA, she was the 2nd of 3 daughters. She graduated from Lynden High School in 1943 and attended 2 years of nursing school.
Janet will be remembered as a precious, kind and
loving woman who was fiercely independent.
She loved to laugh, she hated tuna fish.
Janet was preceded in her death by her son, Tommy; her parents, Oscar and Jennie Post; her husband, Aubrey Lundberg; her sisters, Cora Timmer and Dorothy Baumann; her nephew, Ronald Timmer; and her niece, Nancy Baumann Martin.
Services will be held September 20th at 2:00 p.m. at Family of Christ Lutheran Church, 3500 NW 129th Street, Vancouver, WA 98685.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at the Ray Hickey Hospice House for all their attentiveness and loving care.
