Richard N. Coffman, 80, of Vancouver, WA, passed away Oct. 4, 2013 at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital. He was born in Sioux City, IA and later graduated from Iowa State University.
Richard was instrumental in the formation of the National Psoriasis Foundation and was its first president.
He was District Operations & Maintenance Engineer for the Washington State Department of Transportation and a Navy hospital corpsman during the Korean War.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; daughters, Linda Coffman and Rebecca Coffman; sister, Twila Weaver; and brother, Dale Coffman.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

I became acquainted with Dick when we were in Toastmasters' Club 610 and met at Elmer's restaurant in Hazel Dell. Dick had a good sense of humor and used it in his speeches. Ken Herman
