"Clarence will be missed,
but his stories will live on in our hearts."
Clarence Eddie Chick, 87, of Vancouver, WA, passed away on Sept. 1, 2013.
His adventures in life led him from his home in Gotebo, OK, to Washington to work in the shipyards during WWII, and the Camas Paper Mill during which time he started Chick's Dairy.
Clarence and Geneva ran the dairy until 1979 at which point he "retired" to spend the next 30 years raising spotted Tennessee Walking horses.
Clarence is survived by his wife, Patricia; three children, Teresa, Anneta and Stephen; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Clarence will be laid to rest next to Geneva, his loving wife of 59 years, at 12:30 p.m., Sat., Sept. 7th at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Vancouver, WA.
