Paeaina went home to our Lord, May 7th after eighty-one glorious and enriched years of ALOHA. She was born on June 19, 1930 to Benjamin "Tuna" Maikona and Adele Rikita Keola Brown. She came to the Northwest (Eugene, OR) in 1949 from the big island of Hawaii on scholarship to University of Oregon. This is when her transfer from the "Tropical Rains of Hilo" to the "Mountain Rain of the Northwest" began her memorable and beautiful journey.

She remained very active in community affairs such as Women's Bible Study; Hawaiian Club; Mahjong Group with former teacher colleagues; as well as, enjoying the arts in the Portland/Vancouver community.
Paeaina is survived by her five children; Charles E. Williams III (Misha) of Winchester, CA, Paul Keola Williams of Vancouver, WA, Gregory Lono Williams (Katie) of Portland, OR, Haunani Adele Williams (joined our Lord three years ago), and Christine Iwalani Anderson (Antonio) of Tacoma, WA and their father, Charles E.
