Ann T. Iversen, 84, Vancouver, WA, died April 18, 2012.
In her own words, as a potter of traditional Japanese stoneware, she states: As a student of Zen, I see things in a very simple way. Fish swim, birds fly without pretense. I am a potter; my humble hands mold clay as only they know. Then the mystery of fire completes the work without pretense.
The wish she requested to her husband
was 'to fly away like a bird leaving no trail.'
Her family held a private memorial celebration and there will be no public service.
Ann was many things to many people and all the while, she remained true to herself. With love, deep respect, and admiration for all that she was and is, we ask you to share with us in celebrating her life within your hearts and keeping her memory in your thoughts and prayers.
