Virginia Vindua Castro, 63, of Vancouver, WA, passed away March 9, 2014. She was born to the late Menandro and Ligaya Vindua on Sept. 7, 1950, in Subic, Zambales, Philippines. She graduated from Saint James High School and also attended baking and dressmaking classes.
Virginia married Renato Castro in 1996, and they lived together in the Philippines before relocating to Vancouver.
She loved to spend time with her family, going camping, and playing bingo. Virginia was passionate about her grandchildren and was an active member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
Virginia is survived by her husband; two children; and five grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Sun., March 16th from 12p.m. to 9p.m. and Mon., March 17th from 9a.m. to 5:30p.m. followed by a Rosary at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Burial will be held at 12:30p.m. on Tues., March 18th at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
