GWEN, CORRINE, KATHY, CHRIS, PHILLIP & JERRY:
YOUR MOTHER WAS A SPECIAL PERSON. SHE LOVED HER FAMILY AND SPOKE OF YOU OFTEN. IF YOU WENT ON A TRIP SHE KNEW ALL ABOUT IT. SHE LOVED HER PARENTS. AS AN ONLY CHILD SHE WAS CLOSE TO HER FATHER FOR HE USED TO TAKE HER PLACES.
SHE WAS AN INTELLIGENT PERSON WITH A GOOD MEMORY OF ESPECIALLY THE PAST. SHE ALWAYS HAD INTERESTING STORIES TO TELL. SHE NEVER WANTED TO BE A BURDEN ON ANYONE. I HAD TO CALL HER FOR WHATEVER SHE WANTED ME TO PICK UP AT THE STORE FOR SHE NEVER WANTED TO BE AN INCONVENIENCE TO ANYONE. SHE WOULD SAVE ME HER COUPONS SO I COULD SAVE HER A DOLLAR OR TWO. SHE HAD A HARD TIME MATCHING HER CLOTHES AND HAD A GOOD SYSTEM WHERE EVERYTHING MATCHED WHETHER IT WAS HER BLOUSE, SLACKS, SHOES OR EARRINGS. SHE ALWAYS LOOKED BEAUTIFUL. SHE ENJOYED THE E-MAILS THAT SHE GOT OFTEN.
I WILL MISS HER DEARLY BUT WILL REMEMBER THE FUN TIMES WE SHARED EACH MONTH. SHE LEAVES BEHIND A FINE POSTERITY. SHE WAS PROUD OF ALL OF YOU AND WHAT YOU'VE DONE IN YOUR LIFE. MAKE HER PROUD. TALK ABOUT HER OFTEN WITH YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN AND WITH EACH OTHER. KEEP HER MEMORY ALIVE.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL AS YOU HEAL FROM YOUR LOSS.
LOVE AND ALOHA!

Mom was a mentor to me in many ways, She helped me from the first day I taught school until I retired. She was always there to listen and give encouragement. Even as the classrooms changed over the years she had ideas and opinions of ways to work with the students and the families. She was also a roll model for being a mom and I admire her success. She lived a great life and had many wonderful adventures. May we all live so long!
