Longtime Vancouver resident William W. Boyle passed Tuesday following heart complications at age 66.
William was born May 26, 1946 in Tacoma, WA and graduated from Hudson's Bay High School in Vancouver, WA before serving in the Army in Vietnam.
He was retired from Portco and Union Carbide Corporation as a welder/mechanic.
Besides maintaining his close relationship with God, he also enjoyed traveling, movie collecting and spending time at his Goldendale property.
Billy was preceded by his parents, Dan and Ruby Boyle of Vancouver and survived by brother, Dan R. Boyle, Jr. and family of The Dalles, OR.; three children by previous marriages: Billy Boyle, Jr., Sheri Powell and Jennifer Boyle; and three grandchildren: Shiann Roark, Shelby Powell and Jacob Gibson, all from Vancouver.
Services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, January 30 at 3 p.m., with viewing times Tuesday noon to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
