WILLIAM E. 'WILD BILL' WENZEL

William "Wild Bill" Wenzel, 75, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2017 in Clackamas, Oregon. He was born to Albert and Ruth Wenzel on April 7, 1942 in Vancouver, Washington. He was a 54 year resident of Camas- Washougal.
Bill was a supervisor at the GP Papermill in Camas before his retirement and he also worked at the Pendleton Woolen Mill in Washougal, Washington. He belonged to the AWPPW Local #5, the Clark County Rifle Association and the National Rifle Association.
Bill is survived by his wife, Sandra of 58 years at home; son, William E Wenzel Jr of Camas; daughters, Candy (William) Hicks of Port St Lucie, FL, Teresa Buhman of Washougal; brothers, Carl Wenzel and Roger Wenzel of Vancouver; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown's Stoller Memorial Chapel, 410 NE Garfield St, Camas, WA. Interment will be at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.

When this time of year came around, I started to think about Bill and how much fun we had over at Mitchel hunting Sage Rats. There are very few things I have done in my life that have given me such great memories of a wonderful friend and great time together. I miss him dearly. RIP my friend.

I spent a lot of time with Bill in Central Oregon, shooting and enjoying life. He was on of the greatest guys I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace my friend.
