WILLIAM C. BOETTCHER
July 12, 1928 ~ April 13, 2011
Every so often, the Lord takes a person that just makes you wonder if the good folks on the other side needed a caring soul with a high fun factor to shake things up a bit. That's certainly the case with Bill Boettcher, 82, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother who began enjoying his eternal reward on April 13, 2011. He was born to Lloyd and Imogene Boettcher.
It's hard not to smile when thinking about Bill,
even in this time of sorrow. His spirit, from a very
young age, provided proof that this physical world
was created to enjoy to its fullest. He did.
Bill had a successful law firm in Vancouver since 1953, specializing in personal injury law. He was a mentor to many, five of whom went on to become judges.
He met and married the love of his life, Joan, in 1990. He was very proud of his three children, Bill, Becky Weis, and Charles; Joan's children, Rick Aregger, Patti Maltase, Randy Aregger, Theresa Jones and Ron Dunkin, who loved Bill as a friend and father; his many grandchildren miss him greatly; as well as his brother, Bob Boettcher, his wife, Virginia and their children.
Please join us at the Celebration of Life on Friday, April 22, 1:00 p.m. at Royal Oaks Country Club in Vancouver.

Bill, enjoyed life with friends and family always in the spirit of making each encounter a warm and memorable experience. His easy going way of handling all that life dealt him created a role model for me that I will not forget.

Capt Billy you will be missed by many especially those from the 70's. Great memories from those lunch time cruises past the Chart House or the trips out past Buoy 9 with those special guest that you invited to share with all the other boats. Those times were when all attorneys new each other and even non attorneys were part of the memory making team. That photo is you and hopefully someday we will all meet up again to talk story.

To the family, I am saddened by your loss.
I grew up with Bill and my Dad being the best of buddies. Going fishing, attending functions, having him help me through some things in my youth.
My prayers are with you.
