WILBUR LEE BROCKWAY
June 3, 1929 ~ April 1, 2017

Wilbur Lee Brockway, 87, passed away Sat., April 1,2017 peacefully in Vancouver, WA. He was born on June 3rd, 1929 to Deross and Florence Brockway in Ohio.
Lee married the love of his life, Irene Jakubuska, on Dec. 24th, 1948, who preceded him in death in 2006.
Lee was an Army veteran who proudly served his country.
He was a talented carpenter and foreman, working until retirement, at the Port of Vancouver.
Lee and his wife Irene had a beautiful farm in View, WA, raising cattle and chickens.
Lee loved Jesus and diligently served as a Deacon at his Church, Mountain View Church.
He loved his family so dearly and enjoyed the beach, camping, fishing, boating, hunting, and God's beautiful creation!
Lee is survived by three children, Lee D. Brockway, Joan I. West, and Jimmy J. Brockway; 7 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A "Celebration of Life" service will be held on Sat., April 15th, 2017 at 1:00p.m. at Mountain View Church, 2810 NE 259th St., Ridgefield, WA (360) 887-4019. Please join the family in celebrating Lee's life and time here on Earth that we have enjoyed and been blessed to have together!
