WALTER EDMUND HILT
March 31, 1922 ~ March 19, 2015
Walter Edmund Hilt, 92, passed away on March 19, 2015. He has been a resident of Camas, WA for the past 6 years, and was previously from Albany, NY. He was born to George and Evelyn Hilt on March 31, 1922 in North Bergen County, NJ.
Walter joined the Army Air Force in 1942 and served with the 819th Bomb Squadron in the Pacific during WWII.
He enjoyed photography, wood working, and in his younger years, loved boxing and weight lifting.
Walter is survived by his son, Bruce (wife Linda) Hilt of Delanson, NY; daughters, Corinne (husband Ralph) Forney of Camas, WA and Janelle (husband Tom) Bencze of Rotterdam, NY; daughter-in-law, Sara Hilt; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Hilt; son, Daniel Hilt; and a grandson, Bruce Hilt Jr.
Military honors will take place on Thurs., March 26, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Brown's Funeral Home.

Very Sorry for you loss, Bruce. I can always remember your father here, from the Pine Grove Record Hops back in the early 60's I can always remember too, when he purchase his 1963 Chevrolet Impala, and he was so thrilled, with his new car. Your father brings back memories of the 'good old days'. Love those memories.
