TERRY ALLEN WOOSLEY
February 3, 1945 ~ August 1, 2017

Terry Allen Woosley, 72, was born in Portland, OR, on February 3rd, 1945, to Verley and Edna (Lewis) Woosley. His youth was spent in Hood River, OR, and White Salmon, WA, where he graduated in 1963. He then attended Linfield College on a football scholarship. There he joined Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, and graduated in 1967. Terry worked in the Fred Meyer grocery chain for several years, before becoming a Clark County Distributor for The Oregonian, where he remained for 37 years.

Terry enjoyed hiking, traveling and being with friends, family and his ATO Brothers. He loved sports, and was a lifelong fan of the Packers, Red Sox, and Blazers. After fighting a good fight, he lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, August 1st, at the Vancouver Hospice Care Center.

So sorry to see him go. Cancer is a terrible disease to cope with and causes much suffering. Now he is at peace. He was my 1st boss as I started out in the workaday world. I delivered the Oregonian for him for many years. He was a great guy and fun to play video games with. He will be missed greatly.
